As-salamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,
Eid Mubarak to all.
May Allah (SWT) accept our deeds, fasting, charity, and abundant duaas, and forgive our shortcomings. May the day of Eid be a turning point — a fresh beginning or a mindful shifting to lead a life centered around Allah (SWT).
Allāhu Akbar, Allāhu Akbar, Allāhu Akbar, Lā ilāha illallāh,Wa Allāhu Akbar, Allāhu Akbar, wa lillāhil-ḥamd.
Let the Takbeer fill your heart — and then the air around you. Pause for a moment as you call the Takbeer, and mean it deeply:
"Allahu Akbar" — Allah is greater than anything you consider important in your life. Let Allah (SWT) be the highest priority in everything.
Allāhu Akbar, Allāhu Akbar, Allāhu Akbar, Lā ilāha illallāh,Wa Allāhu Akbar, Allāhu Akbar, wa lillāhil-ḥamd.
Let us remove all our worldly labels and honors, and return to our true identity: Abdullah — a servant of Allah.
Let us strive to be sincere in our actions and do everything for the sake of Allah (SWT).
Let’s keep turning to the Lord of the worlds — before anything else, at any time.
Allāhu Akbar, Allāhu Akbar, Allāhu Akbar, Lā ilāha illallāh,Wa Allāhu Akbar, Allāhu Akbar, wa lillāhil-ḥamd.
Today, we reflect and honor the legacy of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) — a perfect example of sacrifice and devotion to Allah (SWT). He endured immense trials, yet always chose to please Allah.
As believers, we must ask ourselves daily:
What are we sacrificing for Allah (SWT) in our everyday lives?
Sacrifice your time on social media — for Allah (SWT).
Sacrifice your urge to show off — for the sake of sincerity.
Sacrifice your busyness — to pause and pray Salah on time.
Sacrifice your ego — to maintain kinship and family ties.
Sacrifice your wealth — by helping the needy for Allah (SWT).
Sacrifice your TV shows — to recite a page from the Qur'an.
Sacrifice the football match — to spend quality time with Allah.
Sacrifice your urges — to stay away from Riba.
Sacrifice your anger — to respond gently to your spouse.
Sacrifice your time — to connect with your parents.
May Allah (SWT) accept all our sacrifices.
Allāhu Akbar, Allāhu Akbar, Allāhu Akbar, Lā ilāha illallāh,Wa Allāhu Akbar, Allāhu Akbar, wa lillāhil-ḥamd.
I wish you and your family a Barakah-filled Eid.
Make abundant duaas — and don’t forget us in them.
Eid Mubarak. Taqabbalallahu minna wa minkum.
With sincere duaas,
Haneef
